Nicole is a partner and co-founder of multiple medicinal marijuana businesses in multiple states. As CEO, Nicole spearheads decision-making on strategy and policy, and ensures a personalized approach to the delivery of value-based marijuana products. She has over 15 years’ experience in the healthcare field and is a recognized subject matter expert and industry leading authority. Nicole holds a BS in Business Administration from Emory University, and an MBA from Northwestern University.
William is a partner and co-founder of Bloom Medicinals, and an experienced operations executive leading the company in developing and implementing short/ long-term operational plans. As COO, William oversees all aspects of business operations from corporate management to facility build-out, and operational readiness through to the end user delivery of product. William has over 5 years experience in the medical marijuana industry with more than 10 years in healthcare operations, and holds a BBA from Florida Atlantic University.
As CAO, Karen establishes administrative procedures, workflow systems, and keeps projects moving on time and on budget. Karen has over 40 years’ experience managing multi-specialty medical clinics, physician practices and healthcare diagnostic centers, and as an early pioneer in the HMO industry, she has helped navigate complex capitation structures and the integration of medical records compliance. Karen holds her LMT certification and is practice administrator for the family’s multi-specialty medical diagnostic companies, and several affiliated medicinal marijuana businesses.
Nate has over 40 years’ experience in the medical field and has built, owned and operated several large healthcare centers and medical diagnostic facilities. Nate has keen insight into the competitive landscape of the healthcare industry, changes in market trends, market segmentation, and new business opportunities, and oversees budgeting, capital allocation and cost controls. Nate holds a BBA from Temple University and an MBA from Suffolk University.
Peter is a healthcare attorney with licenses in New York, New Jersey and Florida, and serves as in-house counsel for both Bloom Medicinals and the Hollander family’s other healthcare companies. He works to ensure all companies stay in line with internal policies and designs controls to mitigate risk. Peter’s high-level of business acuity has been instrumental in sustaining long-term growth. Peter holds a BA in Political Science from Montclair State University and a JD from Seton Hall Law School.
RJ Starr has over 25 years experience in healthcare and personnel operations. He oversees human resources, talent acquisitions, benefits administration, and employee relations. RJ studied Business at the University of Northern Colorado, Communications at Northwestern University, and Theology at Yale Divinity School.
Bill leads our efforts to acquire real estate and other dispensaries as we expand into new markets. He also grows and maintains business and philanthropic relationships in the communities that we serve. In addition to his duties at Bloom, Bill serves as a founding board member of the Miami Florida chapter of the United States Minority Contractors Association. Bill started his career as an organizational effectiveness consultant in the pharmaceutical industry before embarking on a stellar career in commercial real estate acquisitions, specializing in complex multi-folio assemblages and condominium terminations. Bill holds a BA in Psychology from University of South Florida and an MA in Organizational Psychology & Leadership from Columbia University.
As Chief Financial Officer, Kevin is responsible for providing timely and accurate analysis and forecasts of Bloom Medicinals’ financial trends to management and investors. He has spent much of his career in the financial services industry serving in both firm leadership and portfolio management roles. Kevin has presented investment strategy to professionals across the United States, as well as, to numerous banks and family offices throughout the Middle East and China. He has a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder.
Yaron is globally responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and financial controls covering all aspects of Bloom’s business. He has extensive expertise in accounting & finance, risk management, operations, and financial data management & systems. He holds a master’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a licensed CPA.
David is our staff accountant. He helps maintain all financial transactions and records to prepare fiscal reports for each company across multiple states. Keeping up to date with current law, he ensures all entities comply with federal, state and local requirements. David holds a BS in. Accounting from Florida State University and has worked in corporate accounting for over 25 years in various industries.
Joanie has over 20 years of logistical experience in troubleshooting new store openings, and working as a district manager for national big box retailers across markets throughout the Mid Atlantic region. Joanie oversees all retail operations including new store set ups, budgets, productivity, and procurement. Joanie holds a BS in Textile Design from Philadelphia University.
Andrew has been with the company since its earliest days, starting out as a dispensary manager now overseeing multi-state dispensing operations including product procurement, inventory control, POS, staff training and vendor relations. As a former educator turned cannabis advocate, Andrew served as Communications Director for NORML’s Houston chapter (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws). Andrew holds a BS in Political Science and an MA in Communications from Illinois State University.
Jasmine oversees national operations for our dispensaries in Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri and Ohio. She is responsible for performing audits and setting performance objectives. Jasmine seeks to ensure that company standards and procedures are followed. With over 8 years of experience in patient centered care, Jasmine strives to enhance the quality of life of each person that she encounters. She holds 4 Master’s degrees from Tiffin University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Bowling Green State University.
Chris manages procurement and materials management for retail and cultivation operations. He has over 25 years of experience in purchasing, inventory, production and operations management in the semiconductor, oil and gas, medical instruments, jet aircraft engines, air pollution control, agriculture and fire suppression sectors. Chris earned a MBA from Cleveland State University, specializing in Finance and Competitive Business Strategy and a BSBA from Bowling Green State University in Procurement and Materials Management and Production and Operations Management.
Michael has over 22 years of experience in the construction industry. Michael has been a part of multiple facets of the building process throughout his career. He started as a framer, and then with move involvement, and dedication honed his skills as an estimator. He used his hands-on experience to manage the many details of commercial projects. Michael's project list includes Seminole Hard Rock Casino New Construction & Renovation, Miami Beach Convention Center Renovation, Sabal Trail Pipeline, five years in Southwest Asia and the Mideast Renovating Military Base for DOD. As the director of construction he is responsible for overseeing the completion of construction projects by handling planning, budgeting, and making key decisions to ensure that construction projects are in conformity with the proposed budget and are completed on time. Michael holds a BA from NC Central University.
Matt has grown plants commercially for two decades including five years as Cultivation Director for cannabis cultivation facilities in Missouri and Illinois. He volunteers his time to help Missouri hemp farmers through the St. Louis University Hemp Research Project and works with the St. Louis Science Center on cannabis research and education. Matt has a BSBA in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Maria oversees the company’s marketing strategy and works closely with the operations team to ensure that the patient experience is optimized across all touch points including all of the dispensary locations. Maria has over 20 years’ of marketing experience across CPG and Retail, and has been successful in developing strategic plans, product and pricing strategies, packaging designs, spearheading innovation as well as developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jose manages all digital communications through the company‘s websites, email campaigns and social media platforms, ensuring that each affiliate company maintains its branding and messaging integrity, meets compliance needs and marketing goals. Jose has over 10 years’ experience in communications and marketing, beginning his career in the USMC in strategic communications planning and equipment installation and maintenance, and moving into television production and marketing agencies. Jose holds a BBA in Marketing from Florida Atlantic University, and was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.
Diego is an award winning, multidisciplinary designer with 20 years of experience in advertising, visual communication, and design. Diego holds a BA in Advertising as an Art director and an MFA in Graphic Design. As a Creative Director, Diego has overseen integrated advertising campaigns across emerging channels, tv, print, packaging and digital; as well as leading re-branding and design efforts for large-scale, corporate identity systems. In working directly with clients, he developed strong relationships to deliver strategic and emotionally resonant creative content that also successfully achieves business goals.
Patrick spearheads the creative strategy for email marketing campaigns, sales texts, social media posts, and customer interactions throughout all social media platforms. Patrick has 5 years of experience in commercial photography and branding, beginning his career at FreshMealPlan in Boca Raton, FL. He assisted in creating the visual representation of the company’s brand from its birth to its thriving state now. Patrick has achieved a BFA in graphic design from Florida Atlantic University and is classically trained in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Brandon manages and creates content for all social media platforms.His passion for digital marketing has led him to work in a variety of capacities such as community relations, politics and marketing agencies. Brandon has over five years of experience copywriting, managing and optimizing social media platforms for a variety of industries. Brandon’s unique skill set gives him the ability to truly understand how to connect with targeted audiences. He holds a B.A in Public Relations from The University of West Florida and a M.A in Strategic Communication from Troy University.
Michael oversees the company’s day-to-day IT operations. He is responsible for coordinating technical infrastructure, developing proprietary in-house software, and managing inventory tracking system and technology vendor selection, all while ensuring an excellent patient/ customer experience. Michael has 12 years’ experience in marketing and technology and develops proprietary platforms and websites. Michael holds an AA degree with a focus on marketing and mathematics.
Juno oversees the company's IT infrastructure on a day-to-day basis. He is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the network. He has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry with an excellent track record. Juno holds an AA in information technology focus on networking, BA in IT forensics & assurance. He is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security).
Jean joined the company as the first Data Analyst to work on every aspect of Data Analytics, Optimization, and Predictive Modeling. He develops statistical analysis and applies machine learning algorithms to leverage and unlock the secret power of data to maximize the company decision-making process. Jean served in the Military for a decade as an infantryman and consultant for a government agency both in Iraq and Afghanistan. He shifted careers and studied Applied Mathmatics and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Data Science from Florida Atlantic University.
Patrick is our IT Specialist whose duty is to maintain support for the IT Infrastructure, Help Desk Support, Store Register Builds and Deployment. He has over 10 years of IT Support and Systems Administration. He has experienced with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Applications, Network Implementation, Network Support, Virtualization, and VoIP PBX Systems.
Pamela is our Administrative Assistant/CSR with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. As the CSR she provides resources and personally assist patients through the medical marijuana program in multiple states. Always providing the utmost care for patients she helps patients set appointments, answers questions and concerns and is constantly checking on patients to see if there is anything she can help them with.
With five years experience boosting morale, Georgie ensures the Bloom Medicinals’ workplace is fun, productive, and satisfying. Although he spends most of the day sleeping under a desk, he also enjoys a game of fetch with his lambchop and lounging from lap to lap. Georgie attends all company meetings to ensure they stay on track. He does this by getting up and stretching as a gentle hint that the meeting has gone on long enough. George intends to pursue a degree as specialized security and protection dog once he gets a little bigger.
