Posted: December 11, 2019 in Uncategorized

Bloom Medicinals is the First Medical Cannabis Dispensary in the U.S. to Pioneer Patient Experience & Clinical Engagement (PXCE) as a Strategic Goal, Appoint a Head of PXCE, and Establish an Office of PXCE to Align with Healthcare Best Practices and Elevate Patient-Centered Care

Boca Raton, FL — Bloom Medicinals, the dispensary of choice for medical cannabis patients, announced the launch of their Office of Patient Experience and Clinical Engagement (OPXCE). This newly established initiative integrates evidence-based foundations as a platform for supportive programs and meaningful metrics to increase standards of care and overall patient experience. Too often, this vulnerable patient population is left feeling the burden of responsibility for navigating care without meaningful support from dispensaries as a continuum of care once they leave their physician’s office. The creation of the OPXCE is Bloom Medicinals’ answer to the plea of qualifying patients and concerned recommending physicians for higher levels of clinically informed patient-centered care equal to conventional medicine best practices.

Bloom Medicinals is the first medical marijuana dispensary in the U.S. to strategically unite best practices from the fields of Patient Experience and clinical Integrated Care Models under one roof to provide quality continuity of care for cannabis patients. The company looks to national and international drivers of patient experience and integrative care models, such as the World Health Organization, Press Ganey, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, the Mayo Clinic, SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions, and The Beryl Institute as gold-standards to shape their PXCE programs.

Bloom Medicinals has always offered exceptional patient experience services and programs. What’s new is that Bloom Medicinals is using successful drivers and paradigms of patient experience aligned with federally funded healthcare systems such as Hospital Consumer Assessments of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) and Integrated Care Models to inform best practices for better patient outcomes. Bloom Medicinals’ OPXCE current and future programs and services include:

“We’ve always put our patient’s experience at the forefront of everything we do. What better way to highlight and formalize our goal of helping patients to reach a better quality of life than establishing a groundbreaking department dedicated to just that?” said William Hollander, COO of Bloom Medicinals. Our OPXCE offers new models of quality service and continuity of care for cannabis patients that we haven’t yet seen in the U.S. marketplace.”
